A six-lesson unit focusing on improving understanding of different religious festivals and non-religious celebrations, based on the question ‘Why are festivals important to religious communities?’ from the Derbyshire syllabus. Included is a booklet with all the information and activities for the six lessons (images and some information courtesy of BBC Bitesize) with key vocabulary, recap questions on prior learning, discussion points, questions, activities and challenges included.
